More than 90% of affluent customers want a biometric payment card rapidly, they are willing to pay for one and they show very strong interest in biometric metal cards

Insights published by IDEX Biometrics show increasing demand for secure payments and biometric authentication, as more than 9 of 10 Americans and Canadians want fingerprint sensors on their payment cards. Close to 75% of those surveyed in each market say they would like a biometric payment card within 12 months, and more than 60% indicated they would pay for one either separately or as part of their monthly or annual card fee.
