The instant notice is issued by IDEX ASA on behalf of Morten Opstad, who holds voting rights exceeding 25 per cent of the share capital.
Morten Opstad, chairman of IDEX ASA, who shall also open the annual general meeting in the company on 19 May 2011, had by the registration deadline received powers of attorney to represent and vote for a total of 58,649,440 shares, or 25.2 per cent of the share capital. Some of the powers of attorney include voting instructions. The powers of attorney are only valid at the annual general meeting.
The foregoing number includes 5,444,728 shares, corresponding to 2.3 per cent of the share capital, which are held by Mr. Opstad and close relations.
