Paul Taylor

Paul joined IDEX Biometrics in July 2017 to establish and lead the program management organisation and in January 2018 also assumed responsibility for Operations. He most recently served as SVP, Mobile Transaction Solutions with Mastercard where he was responsible for development and delivery of custom digital mobile wallet applications for Mastercard issuers. Paul joined Mastercard in 2014 as part of the acquisition of the C-SAM business where he held position of Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Paul had a long career at Nokia working on both technology and handset development programs. He has always focused on cutting edge technology having achieved success leading the developments delivering the first commercial solutions for GPS, contactless and WiMAX technologies implemented in Nokia phones. Paul holds a BEng (Hons) Electronics Engineering from Southampton University.
