CEO of IDEX invited to speak at seminar on Biometrics in Banking and Payments

Oslo, Norway, 16 November 2017 – CEO of IDEX ASA, Dr Hemant Mardia, is providing the afternoon keynote at the European Association of Biometrics seminar on Biometrics in Banking and Payments in London on 17 November 2017. Dr Mardia’s presentation will reflect on why the new generation of biometric cards are a step change in convenient security, improving security while also optimising the user experience. The opening keynote will be covering the ground breaking development of biometric cards, and more than 18 different banks and financial institutions will participate at the seminar.

The Biometrics in Banking and Payments seminar will provide guidance on how biometrics can be used to optimize key aspects of the banking and payment processes, such as customer interaction, operational efficiency, fraud reduction and prevention. The seminar is organised by the European Association for Biometrics (EAB).
