IDEX ASA to Present at the Biometrics in Banking and Payments seminar on October 16

October 14, 2015 – IDEX ASA, a leader in fingerprint imaging and recognition technology, announced today that Dr. Hemant Mardia, Chief Executive Officer, will be a featured speaker at the Biometrics and Banking Conference to be held at CCT Venues Plus-South Quay, London. The seminar is hosted by the European Association for Biometrics. The EAB is a non-profit organization seeking to advance the proper and beneficial use of biometrics in Europe, taking into account the interests of European citizens, industries, academia and governments.

The mobile and ID & Smart Card markets are priority markets for IDEX, and both are seeing rapid acceleration from the growth of the payment applications. Dr. Mardia will be presenting how IDEX is enabling solutions for mass deployment of fingerprint based biometrics in payment and banking, leveraging patented technology that is ideally suited for these applications.
