SVP, Silicon and Sensor Technologies
Chris joined IDEX Biometrics in June 2016 and previously held the position of Vice President, Silicon Engineering. He is currently responsible for IDEX’s Silicon Engineering, Product-Test Engineering and Sensor Technologies organizations. Sensor Technologies is an umbrella organization encompassing Sensor Development, Display Integration, Sensor Packaging, and Card Integration functions. Chris has over 25 years’ experience in active-matrix display and capacitive sensing technologies. Prior to joining IDEX, Chris worked as Sr Director, Touch-Display Integration for Atmel Corporation’s CTO organization. Prior to Atmel, he worked for Synaptics, Inc. as Sr Director, Display Integration Architecture where he was responsible for developing their Touch-Display Driver Integration (TDDI) architecture and advance in-cell capacitive sensing schemes. Previously, Chris held various mixed-signal management positions with National Semiconductor, Vivid Semiconductor and Crystal Semiconductor. Chris received his MSEE from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He was born in 1960, is a US citizen and resides in Pittsford, New York.
